On Line LMS Research tool
While doing some looking around I ran across an online tool that allows you to research an LMS. Basically it is an online database that allows you to select which features and functions, which attributes of a LMS are important for you and your organization.
It will then automatically go through the database, and output to you the top four (4) LMS’s that meet your criteria and that you should be sending your RFP to. It will even include contact details for each of the four vendors! Wow is that easy or what? And since you had selected the features, functions and attributes all ready, the RFP creation is simple.
There is a subscription fee for using this online database, but since the builders of the data base did all the leg work and research to insure those vendors are reputable and stable. Plus they validated the features and functions of each LMS. Therefore it seems to me to be an incredible value.
Say goodbye to the difficult and time consuming task of LMS Vendor selection, and say hello to quickly getting the right vendor selected. And it would appear to me that also gone is the worry that a vendor "may have pulled a fast one on me", or the worry that “maybe I did not look hard and wide enough”.
I just felt like that I should tell everyone about this amazing tool. I know those who are not looking, and do not have plans to look for an LMS are not real interested. But those who will be (or all ready are) looking will find this an incredibly worthwhile tool and a very cost and time efficient way to make an intelligent LMS purchase.
