- Ed, his wife Pris, their newly high school graduated daughter MacKenzie and Jasper the schnoodle have moved from Hyderabad India to their new home in Encinitatas, CA. Ed will be with Satyam through end of October 2009 and is currently seeking opportunities.
Ed Cohen provided the opening keynote for the Fall CLO Symposium. He spoke about the need to listen to the voices of all stakeholders- associated, investors, customers and society in order for learning to have maximum impact. Ed also received the Vanguard Award at the conference for strategic leadership development at Satyam.
Considered a statesman in the learning profession, Ed Cohen is a zealot who ignites deep change through learning, He continuously explores and develops new methodologies in tune with business needs. He has been directing organizational, training and employee development services for almost a quarter century. His extensive research on leadership in the global paradigm is documented in his book, Leadership Without Borders, published by John Wiley and Sons.
Ed is the Chief Learning Officer for Satyam Computer Service Ltd. Prior to Satyam; Ed was the founder and strategic leader for Booz Allen Hamilton’s corporate university. In 2007, Ed became the only Chief Learning Officer to lead two different companies to number one rankings for learning. Under Ed’s leadership, Satyam was named the number one ranked organization in the world for learning by the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD). Booz Allen had previously achieved the number one spot on both Training Magazine’s global ranking and ASTD.

I was given your name/contact information by Kevin Oaks. He thought you might be able to assist me with a search that I am currently conducting seeking - VP, Learning & Organizational Development for The Hartford, reporting to the EVP, Human Resources.
Ideally, we are looking for someone that brings a demonstrated track record in building a robust, contemporary learning program coupled with "action learning" experience.
